A question
that stayed with me.

A woman who had undergone two breast cancer operations asked whether I could do something for the scars on her breast. Her question had a lasting influence on my work with scars.

For more than ten years, I have explored this subject in my work. This led to the NEOSCAR® method using four special magnetic pens. Today, I support people at the Centre for Prevention & Recovery in Überlingen.

I want to understand what you experience, and distinguish what complementary support can offer from what needs medical assessment.

My approach

A visible scar does not tell the whole story of a procedure. It does not reliably show the cause of pain or how someone experienced an operation. That is why I begin with questions.

We define a personal goal, explain a possible application and look at your individual progress. You may say no at any time. Respecting a no is part of a good encounter.

I do not promise a particular outcome. NEOSCAR® does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment; when symptoms are unclear, medical assessment is the appropriate next step.

What connects my books

“50 chirurgische Narben” explores the professional context. “Narbenhaut & Seelenkraft” addresses body image and closeness after breast cancer. “Wo Berührung beginnt” explores trust, consent and relationships.
